Open Gardens Sunday 4th June 2023
We are pleased to say that our first ever Upper Saxondale Open Gardens will be on Sunday 4th June in aid of Nottinghamshire Wildlife Trust. We’ve 12 gardens opening; some paddocks, the woodland walks and our new little Maze near the playpark. They vary in size and style and we would love to welcome you from 12.00 -5.00pm. Our resident bee-keeper Tom will be here in one paddock and whittling skills will be in another! If you’ve ever wondered about the orchard, then between 2.00-4.00pm Sally will be there to answer all your questions. Jane in the soft fruit orchard. Vegetable and flower plant stalls in two gardens, and of course no Open Gardens would be complete without Afternoon Teas and Cakes. Look out for the bunting festooned marquee at the Village Hall and enjoy a perfectly perfect English Summer’s Day with us.
Tickets are £5 per adult and are available to buy at stalls on the green between Buckingham and Westminster Drive and at the Village Hall.
