The results are in for the local elections!
Our village is now represented by FIVE parish councillors and ONE borough councillor. Well done to everyone taking part.

Rushcliffe Borough Council (RBC) has published the list of candidates for the Parish Council and Ward elections. You can find more information about local elections on RBCs website https://www.rushcliffe.gov.uk/elections/elections2023/
The new Upper Saxondale Parish Council can elect up to seven Parish Councillors as its representatives. Five candidates have been nominated so all are elected uncontested.
The new Ward of Newton, which our parish is part of along with Newton and Shelford parishes, can elect one Borough Councillor as its representative. Three candidates have been nominated so ballot papers have been issued to residents eligible to vote.

Rushcliffe Borough Council (RBC) has asked us to share NOTICE OF ELECTION information regarding the forthcoming Parish, Town and Borough Councillor elections taking place on Thursday 4th May 2023.
Our newly formed Parish of Upper Saxondale can elect up to seven Parish Councillors as our Parish representatives.
We are also part of the newly formed Ward of Newton, along with the parishes of Newton and Shelford, and can elect up to one Borough Councillor as our Ward representative.
