Tennis Club History
When David Wilson Homes (DWH) redeveloped the old Saxondale hospital site, they built three new tennis courts complete with clubhouse (now repurposed as the Village Hall).
However, in the early years, there was no access to the clubhouse as DWH had never handed over the keys and the courts were not always being used for tennis.
In 2003 residents banded together to launch Upper Saxondale Tennis Club. USTC was the first new club to launch in Nottinghamshire for many years!
Club Objectives
To provide a safe, friendly environment where tennis can be played both socially and competitively.
Raise money to create a sinking fund to ensure that the courts can be properly maintained.
