How to use the Defibrillator
Our defibrillator is a Zoll AED 3 (Automated External Defibrillator).
If someone has a sudden cardiac arrest and you are asked by the Emergency Services to use the defibrillator, then they will talk you through how it works as well as the unit ‘speaking’ the instructions too. Follow these links to online training that you can view anytime:

Response - check the casualty needs help
Shout - shout for help
Airway - ensure airway is open and clear
Breathing - look for normal breathing
Compressions - not breathing normally? Start compressions!
